International Coffee Days have been celebrated in different countries since at least 1983, but it was officially launched in 2015 by the International Coffee Organization (ICO) at Expo 2015 in Milan, Italy.

Many businesses offer free or discounted coffee on this day, so it’s a great time to score a deal and support local cafes. You might even find special coupons or promotions on social media, adding to the excitement of the celebration.
