For years, people online have been asking whether there’s a National Fortnite Day and, if so, when it’s observed. Well, we all know that in Fortnite, it’s not about where you start, but where you finish. So, while July 25th might have gotten the early drop with the release of Fortnite: Save the World, let’s be real—September 26th is where the real victory royale lies. It’s the day Fortnite Battle Royale descended from the bus (for early access) and into our hearts, turning a quirky co-op game into the global phenomenon we love so much.
Apart from July 25 (early access to Fortnite: Save the World), also July 21 (probably due to some date confusion) and July 13 (for reasons unknown) have been suggested as alternatives to September 26th. But we’re hoping the Fortnite community will rally behind our proposal for the September date. So, on September 26th, we’re asking you to celebrate by dropping into the game, scoring those victory royales, and sharing your best Fortnite moments on social media with the hashtag #NationalFortniteDay.
